    this plant was two inches tall when i got it a year and a half ago, its growing good but i don;t know what it is

    It's a jade plant aka Crassula ovata.*

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
