The first is canna. Big, banana like leaves, although much shorter? The seed capsule is a little prickly, will have large black round seeds in a capsule that will split in four sections. It will grow from a rhizome, although you can grow them from seed, too.
A word of caution: If your specimen has spotty leaves, it probably has a virus and should be destroyed. |
