Hi there! :)

I was in Crete, Greece, and I saw this plant, like a small tree, with flowers in groups, as seen in the photo. I was said that in autumn it loses its leaves, and then it's time to propagate with cuttings-very easy. The flowers have a strong gardenia-jasminish flavour, and in Bali, the habitants make garlands with them, to welcome visitors,*a friend said! Although I can have cuttings in October, I 'd wish to know what this plant is called. I am looking forward to your answering.

    Thank you

    Hi Eleni,

Your tree is Plumeria rubra aka frangipani.* There are two species of Plumeria.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
