    Hi Ptchfork,

Any other photos of the ones I'm not sure of, maybe with the leaves? Knowing where these photos were taken would be helpful.*

#1 could be some type of Chrysanthemum or daisy.
#2 looks like Sisyrinchium aka blue eyed grass
    #3 is Aquilegia aka Columbine
    #4 is Zinnia
#5 could be a Dahlia or Chrysanthemum
#6 could be a Dahlia or Chrysanthemum
#7 is some type of Lily.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Ah, just knowing where the photos were taken is most helpful.* I went to their website and found a link for 'Seasonal Displays'.*
    http://www.queensbotanical.org/garde...tions/displays

With that knowledge I suspect that some flowers may be new cultivars and I revise a couple of my id's.

#4 is probably Zinnia 'Zowie! Yellow Flame'.**
#6 is probably another type of Zinnia

You might contact them to see what's in bloom where you photographed them.

    Wish I could help more.
