Some type of squash???

Hi. I am hoping someone can tell me what we have taking over our backyard! It has been so fun watching it grow . . . we grow lots of random things as volunteer plants every year, but we usually can tell what they are . . . this has us wondering . . . obviously a squash type plant but the fruit is HUGE!! If you can't tell from the photo, the fruit is about 2 feet long and about 18 inches across and weighs a ton!! I also have a photo of a newer fruit that hasn't gotten as big yet . . .thanks for any help!

Im not sure what specific variety of squash you might have,but they sure do look like they are huge!
