This plant was given to me by a relative, he gave it to me along with other peppers. i thought that all of the plants were peppers that is until i noticed this one. it smells like lemon. its flowers are very small. The enclosed picture is outdated. i have changed its pot and it*has grown bigger. But i remains that same. I suspect that it is some kind of herb or perhaps its leaves are for tea..*I really apreciate your help. thank you*

Hi Mezavictor,
Your picture isn't really close enough for me to be sure and I don't know where you are located, but I suspect your plant is Lippia citriodora aka Aloysia triphylla aka lemon verbena.* Is this it?

I have it in my garden and it will seed around the garden if you let it set seeds.
