Hi Ed,
I've never seen anything like it before.* It reminds me of something one would see in a bog garden or water garden, but searching there didn't do me any good.* Unfortunately the picture isn't clear enough for me to see the leaves, but how about cow parsnip?* Does it look like this?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
Newt,* the leaves are different.* Not as pointed.* I will make a better picture of the leaves tomorrow and post it.* Thank you for your help.* Ed
Ed, You are very welcome.* I'd love to see a new picture.
