    thorn less blackberries

    Hi all, I am new to the forum, and I find it very interesting.
    I have a question! I have in my back yard about 100 thorn lesss black berriese plants. named cascade delites. this year I lost over half of them from some sort of I don't know. they seemed to have got sun burned. but I don't think so because the ones that under a apple tree got hit.
    Has anyone ever experanced this?
