    Smile Unknown Vine-Type Plant

    Hello Backyardgardeners!

I am in Massachusetts, in the midst of a super cold winter.

Somewhere near the end of summer I rescued a plant or rather just a cutting which was all that survived. There were orange flowers on it prior to it almost suffering a freeze.

I put it in my terrarium (mostly tropical plants, lots of humidity) and it thrived, so I took it out as to avoid it overunning my tank.

I transplanted it into some potting soil I had on hand, and now it is suffering. I think it is an awesome plant and I want to keep it going. I need to find out the proper care!

I have attached pictures of all that is left of the plant.

The prominently featured leaf is at most 1/2". There is one leaf much bigger that is now yellowing and shriveling. I had to pinch about 8 leaves that had wilted immediately after the transplant. The stems have an almost aloe-like gel/liquid in them.

    Thanks much!

Without a flower it is very difficult to be sure. However, the leaf looks very like a Nasturtium.
