Hi folks! New to the forum, so please excuse if I am posting in the wrong place.
While driving to work today I noticed the lovely red flowering shrubs along Harrison Avenue in Cary near the Harris Teeter. They appear like they could be a variation of an azalea, but this is one I have never seen. They have a very pretty red flower with a yellow center. The folage is green with a tint of red on it.
Anyone have any ideas? I would love to plant some of these at my house as they appear very hardy and need little water.
You said, "...Harrison Avenue in Cary near the Harris Teeter." Where in the world is Cary and what is a Harris Teeter? Do you have pictures? That too would be helpful.
LOL I happen to know where it is since we live about 45 minutes south and sometimes I drive up to Cary (Harris Teeter is a grocery store). So maybe I'll remember next time to look for it. Can you take a few pictures?
Snowwhite, thanks for rescuing me! I never read the title of the post or I would have at least known where this was! I get notification of all posts in my mail and rarely read the tilte, I just read the post.
