Hi! I am new to gardening in general and am interseted in growing jalapenos. I saved seeds from some jalapenos a friend gave us that were the BEST tasting ever! I've saved them for a year and 1/2 in a plastic ziploc tucked in a corner of a cabinet (dark, dry and cool) I am in mid NC and live in an apt right now. Can I grow them & how?

So much to explain to get this to work.   If you have a constant 70 degree room, you could buy some soil and a pot and place a plastic bag over it.  Be sure you have a good source of light so they grow straight an tall.

For me...

Germination seed tray, seed germination soil, 72-80 degree room, 6 mill plastic over the top of the seed tray... water from the bottom up... the mist all the time... keep the plastic on the seed tray until you seed germination.

This is what I did for habs.
