Hi.  I live in Ohio and have very, very tiny yellowish tan bugs all over my Petunia blooms.  When I an dead-heading the plant these bugs get on me and they bite!  What can I do to savely keep them off of my plants and off of me?  Does anyone know what these bugs are?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Lindee,

I've never heard of an insect pest on a petunia that bites humans.  I would suggest you contact your local extension service so you can either get help from them or send them a sample.

Please let us know what you find out.

Good luck,
