black, poky, leggy bugs on night blooming jasmine (tomatoes too)

I'm not able to get a pic at this time, but does this pest sound familiar to anyone? they almost look furry, they clump together and if you touch them they will poke you. They love the night blooming jasmine and I've just recently seen them on my tomato plants.
    Any ideas???

I found out what they are. They are solonacious leaf hopper nymphs. They were hanging out with these green triangular shaped bugs that just happen to be the adults. Next time they come around, I'll take some pics to show them.

    Let me guess

I guess those would be aphids, they are in many colors. Give jasmine a fast and heavy spray of water to get rid of them.
