    Fuschias - Annual or Perennial?!

    Hi,

    I have 3 fuschias, and I don't know if they are annual or perennial. I also have no clue what to do with them over the winter, if they are perennial. I live in Zone 8, in British Columbia. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Brenda, with over 110 species of Fuchsia, never mind cultivars, I won't even try to ID your three. Fuchsia are a tropical species but some hardier varieties survive even to zone 8. Here on Cape Cod we have to treat them as annuals or indoor house plants (zone 6b- 7a). I recommend reading up on the Hardy Fuchsia at:
