Next season my sister and I are going to plant vegetables in a small plot of land in our front yard. We hope to save some money on groceries but also love to grow things. My sister heard that if you take some chicken wire and stretch it from the ground, slant it towards the fence and fasten it, that the beans will grow on the chicken wire and the bean pods will hang from it. This way it will be easier to pick them. Have any of you heard of this, and if so, does it work?
