    Tuberous Dahlias/Overwintering/Zone 5

[I am trying to save my dahlias from freezing over winter but I don't really have a good place to store them. Can I just leave them in the pots I grew them in and store them in my garage where they will be cold enough to not promote new growth but will not freeze? Will the dirt make the tubers rot?

    Hi Joanie,

Here's how to store your dahlias.

If you would register you wouldn't have to show your e-mail addy for all to see and help to avoid spam. You would also get instant e-mail notification that you have an answer. YOu could also fill in your location and hardiness zone so that if you have more questions we won't have to ask.
