Freezing
Tomatoes

Preparation:
Tomatoes can be frozen whole, sliced, diced or halved. If you prefer
to freeze our tomatoes without their skins, dip them in boiling
water for about a minute until the skins split, then carefully peel
them away from the fruit.

To
extend the time frozen foods taste fresh, package foods in material
intended for freezing and keep the temperature of the freezer at
0 degrees F or below. It’s recommended frozen vegetables be eaten
within about eight months for best flavor, and to maintain quality.
