My Oregano is dying

: I am on my second oregano plant.  My first died and now this one is almost dead.  What could I be doing wrong?  It is in a container and the leaves keep drying up and turning black on the tips.  I water it but not too much and have put fetilizer on it once... I've only had it about 2 weeks.  Any tips?
