The eucalyputs mulch could be used around shrubs, trees and perennials. I don't know about the veggie garden. In a veggie garden grass clippings work well by adding nitrogen but be sure the lawn isn't treated with any chemicals. Also consider shredded leaves, leaf mold (decomposed leaves), or straw.
