1) I am told that, if you live in zones 5 and up, you can plant herbs into the ground in 2) Has anyone had experience with keeping herbs alive and healthy indoors over the winter? I have a south facing window, a Wonderlite (arc filament) and fluorescent grow lights. I tried incandescent GROW lights last winter with not much luck. I do not want to buy a $200 metal halide... , So far, I’d like to over winter catnip, catmint, Ruben Basil, Lemon Basil, Sweet Basil, lavender, rosemary, sage, Lemon Thyme, Silver Thyme, oregano, coriander and tarragon. Thanx to All :)
