I have two year-old lavenders I put at the balcony with lots of sunlight. They are growing fine until I prune them back a little after the first blooms, the plant continue to grow new leaves and smells great but no flower. Some of the leaves will dry off and new ones would grow. So far I have three miserable premature blooms that is quarter of an inch. It is spring time now in Australia, weather is great and I water them twice a week. I use ordinary potting mix Is it the mix? There's also a constant problem with one stubborn moth which like to lay eggs on my lavender. Thus I have to watch out for caterpillars every day, just one or two and under control. What can I do to get my lavender to bloom? Please help!
