: I planted 2 lamb's ear plants about two weeks ago. They're beginning to look wilted, and some of the leaves are turning yellow. What does this mean? I've been watering them about every other day; is it too much, or not enough? A shasta daisy that I planted is beginning to yellow as well.
: Thank you!
Since you posted this over 10 days ago, this may be too late. Unless you live in the desert of Arizona, you are overwatering. Lambs ears like it on the dry side, as do most silver leafed plants. They also need good drainage.
The rule of thumb is to water once a week if you don't get an inch of rain a week.
