Sam! Don't plant a black walnut tree! You won't have much luck growing anything around it. Roots are toxic. Plants will wilt and die. Unless you have a farm property and the tree is in the middle of nowhere, DON'T DO IT! There are plenty other beautiful trees out there to choose from.
