: : Dear all,

: : Could anybody here kindly give me some information on black walnut trees? (eg. the suitable climate for the trees, advice on planting, etc) And especially, where can I buy the black walnut tree seeds? I appreciate any information you provide for me.

: : respectfully,

: Here is a site you should find useful. Do read it thoroughly. This is not a tree to plant on a lawn or in a garden.

: The more improved varieties do not come true from seed.
: You can also do a search at www.google.com using the Latin name and quotes and a plus sign like this "Juglans nigra" + "seed". There is also a site called www.seedrack.com that might be able to help you.

: Newt
