: : My friend lives in Maryland, and she loves my jasmine plants. Can she grow a jasmine plant outside in the state of Maryland? If so what kind would thrive best, Star, Pinwheel, Colonia??? She want to have them around her house. Also if she can, what is the best way to take care of them outdoors.

: : Thank you for your information.

Hi Paulette,

I too live in Maryland. Our zones are 5, 6 and 7. You can research your jasmine at www.google.com and put the name in quotes like this: "star jasmine".

Here's a zip code zone finder to see which zone your friend is in.

Good luck,
