: : : I live in ontario canada and would like to know how to take care of a jasmine plant so that it produces the maximum flowers?
Hi Jasmine Noel,
If you live in Onatario, I'm assuming that your jasmine is a house plant. Treat it the same way I suggested for Shalini. Repot when needed to a pot that is 2" larger.
: : Do you know which jasmine you have?
: : Indoors, jasmines need at least four hours of direct sunlight daily or 14 to 16 hours of strong artificial light. Day temperatures should be 68 to 72 ° F and night temperatures 50 to 55 ° F.
: : Another thing you can do to encourage bloom is to water with milk. Yup, the stuff you put in coffee. Just add a tablespoon to the watering can when you think of it or when the milk container is empty, just add water and use that for your houseplants. It will supply calcium and other minerals that encourage bloom.
