: Hello, Hi Kristen, Yellowing leaves could be caused by several different things. I usually find that a houseplant that has leaves turning yellow means that it needs to be repotted because it's rootbound. Check for that first. If that is the problem, repot in a 2" larger pot and water with 1 Tablespoon of milk in your watering can. You can also just add water to the milk container when the milk is finished. Milk contains calcium and other minerals that help roots and also blooms. All your houseplants will love it. You did say that you fertilize infrequently, but it might be your fertilizer that could be causing the problem as well. If that's not your problem, take a look at this site. On the left click on 'Broadleafed Shrubs' and then click on 'Leaves'. http://www.agnr.umd.edu/users/hgic/diagn/ If you need something organic, try this site. www.gardensalive.com Hope this helps, |
