: I've had 2 beautiful bamboo plants in the same vase for a year. Both have been thriving until about a week ago when they suddenly started turning yellow from the bottom all the way up. The leaves on top are still green, but can the plants be saved? Please help...

Hi JM,
I have a feeling you have 'lucky bamboo' since you say it's in a vase. It really isn't bamboo at all, but a dracaena. Once they turn yellow it's usually too late to save them. Is this your plant?

Here's a couple of sites that should be helpful.

If I'm wrong, let me know.
