Hi Irv,
Anything with thick succulent leaves will probably need lots of sun but little water. Philodendron is a low light plant that doesn't require lots of water. Cast iron plant needs little light and not much water. It does get large. Sanseveria is another that grows with either long tall leaves or in a rosette form. Lithops is another that needs little water.
