: : : : : : I have (had?) a purple shamrock which has seen MUCH better days. Is there anyway to revive this plant from the bulbous roots??? : : : : Hi Ginger, : : I have one too. What is going on with yours? Did you forget to water or does it seem to just be dying for no reason? : : Newt Hi Ginger & Newt 2 points - 1) the easiest way to make a purple shamrock feel ill is over-fertilizing. 2) they do have a resting period, like most plants that grow from corms - leave them dry for 4-6 weeks at least, then water, and they should come back as good as new. We had one that went 5 months dry, and now it's better than ever, and flowering really well. God bless Mike
