Dragon plant, taking a cutting?

My dragon plant is now around eleven years old and is growing out of its massive pot. I'm afraid to admit one branch of it seems to be suffering from the constriction as I can't afford the cost or space of a larger pot. Is it possible to take a cutting from the healthy branch and repot that one? And if so, how?
