: To anyone who may have the knowledge please help! My golden pothos & tropical peacelily have been infected with a type of fungus (bright yellow mushroom-like organisms have sprouted from the soil & are growing at an intense pace!! Within the last two days the organisms have tripled in their length & width. I noticed, prior to their sprouting, a bright yellow gooey cover on top of the soil. The mushroom-like organisms are the same color. Hope someone can help?!
: Much thanks!

I have the same problem in my rubber plant, I plan on removing the top soil immediately before the mushrooms turn to spore again. I will also replace the top soil. I think these spores were air born and just happened to land in a moist evironment where they could grow?
