My Yucca plant has black spots!

: I rescued a yucca plant from a neighbor, it's not too big, it's probably 3-4 feet high. I water it probably once a week, probably two cups of water, and it's seating next to my window. Since I rescued it, it has black or brown spots everywhere in the leaves, there are new leaves coming up, at the begining they were fine, but I found out that some of them are starting to have those spots. Anybody that knows what is it, please help me, thank you!
