: I got tulips for Valentine and would like to know how to keep the bulb until fall to plant and when do I cut the leaves. The flower has died but the leaves and stems are still green.Do I cut the leaves from the bulb or let them die?Do I keep watering them? I'm afraid the bulb will rot. I got 3pots with about 20 bulbs and I hate for them to die they were so beautiful.    Thanks Frances
