: : Hi, I have a palm that I don't know the name of. The leaves look similiar to chamaedorea simplex, but the plant is taller.(about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall). Also, the leaves are bit more slender and pointed at the end. The markings on the palm are almost identical.(or the lines on the leaves if that's what you call them). I've been looking on the internet for a picture, but unable to find one. Could anyone help me with the ID on this? I'm enclosing link for the palm that mine looks similiar to.

: Hi Sueann,

: The lines on the leaves are called veins.

: Hope you can find it.

Hi Newt, I had to do lots of looking, but I found the palm I was looking for. It's a Pleomele, or a Lance Dracaena. I also found the name of another that I have while I was looking. Tall with green stripes, and that is Pleomele Reflexa. Also called Dracaena Reflexa. Thanks for you help.
