Aloes will do this when exposed to higher light...it won't do any harm unless the leaves actually turn brown, indicating burn. Personally, I like it!
They'll also do this when stressed, for example, when lacking water.

: i moved my aloe plant to a sunnier windowsill and it started turning an orangish-red. i got worried so i moved it back into the shade and it turned green again. does anyone know why that happened?
