Hi, I am writing from Brisbane, Australia so it is early autumn 30C and humid most days.

I have a palm tree (don't know the species) about 4' high with broad varigated leaves approx. 6" at there widest and maybe 15" long.

The plant seems to be very happy with new leaves shooting regularly however the older leaves are getting holes in them, splitting and drooping.

No obvious bugs and I give the plant a thorough watering once a week, a weak fertiliser every second week.

Any ideas?
