Lorna, your being conned, roses arent ment to be grown indoors. My husband and I are consulting rosarians and grow over 350 roses of which 100+ are minis. all are grown outdoors. Roses need 5-6 hours minimum of natural sunshine, not filtered light. Try moving one up to a larger pot and putting it outside. Good luck
