I heard this song last Sunday Night on the Big Broadcast, a FM Radio Show WFUV 90.7 8 to Midnight on Sundays from Fordham University Bronx New York http://www.wfuv.org/wfuv/conaty.html. It is very hard to get out of your head. The recording had a strange version of a London h'accent, probably a Yank doing his best.
WHEN I WAS ABOUT TEN YEARS OLD, I SANG IN A CHILDREN'S QUARTET a song somewhat like this:
: The King's Horses and the King's men, they marched up the Hill and they Marched down again
: The King's horses and the King's men
: They're not out to fight the foe, Oh dear no
: They're out because they want to go
: To put a little pep into the Lord Mayor's show
: They're in Scarlet
: They're in GOld
: They're all dressed up
: Such beauty to behold
: The King's Horses and the King's Men
: Can anybody help me.
