I named my youngest daughter Amanda (Mandy) because of this romantic old song...sad as it ended, it spoke to undying love and devotion. We sang it quite a lot in Scouts. However, although I remember the tune really well...I have a crappy voice and would not do it justice. Does anyone know who sang/wrote it and does anyone have a recording of it anywhere? I would gladly reimburse someone to make it available to me.
