: Recently my husband and I purchased an orchid here in Hawaii and its nickname is the pineapple orchid. Would anyone have any information on this orchid? Its leaves looks like a typical orchid plant but the bloom looks similar to the tops of pineapples. We were told that this woman who raised them got a lot of her things from the mid-east.. we think.. we are not sure. If anyone has any info. We'd love to know more about it.
