: I am new to the orchid owning scene. My orchid has recently begun to bloom again and I would like to cut off the previous two stalkes that are now barren. I am not sure if this will harm my plant in anyway. Id sure love an answer if anyone knows.
: Sincerely, Lacey

When our orchids stop blooming, we cut them just above one of the lower "notches" or potential branching sites. Then they usually start new shoots from that location.
