Cymbidium repotting

: I bought a Cymbidium in early April and it was in bloom.  The blooms have just started falling and I realized that if I was going to repot it, it should have been done in April after blooming.  I understand if I do it now it will not flower next year.  I would like to know whether I should wait until next spring to repot/divide?  If so, would the plant be okay through the winter as the current pot seems pretty congested(the tubers are visible on top of the soil).

: Also it has two stalks that had flowers.  After the flowers fall, am I supposed to cut the stalks down a certain length and if so, how much? 

: btw, this is an indoor plant.
