: Hi. I was given a Phaleanopsis last year. The flowers lasted a long time before finally wilting. I kept it in my reading room (that has all windows with shades) all winter and watered it every week. It's grown more leaves and they look healthy but there is no new stem/stalk (don't know what to call it). I bought some fertilizer for it and have used it once (it says to use once a month). How long will it take to flower? Is this a sign that something is wrong?
