Your Dend. will be fine , they like a lot of light an east window is good or back a little from a south window . Do not over pot it to keep it moist longer , if wet for to long they will root rot , use a pot just big enough to hold the roots and maybe a years new growth , soak the potting mix over night before using it , an azalia pot works well , with some of the non melting peanuts on the bottom . Be sure to let dry between watering . Good luck with it I know the plant is important to you .. Gin
