Phaleanopsis: Remove old, limp flowers?

: I just brought my first orchid home from a show. It's a  Phaleanopsis (big surprise...). Anyway, 5 of the six blossoms started to wilt the first day it was home. The last blossom, which is the farthest out on the spike, is fine. As is the rest of the plant. It's been a week now. What I want to know is do I remove the wilted flowers or do I wait for them to drop off? How do I remove them?

: I do have three more buds developing, so I'm not left with one lone flower.
