Hey William. I'm not sure this is causing the leaf yellowing, but that sounds like too much shade for catts. If you said 30% shade 70% sun that would sound better.....Mine are in almost full sun in a Western exposure. Really I just have other plants shading them mildly. Other than my Vanda types, nothing gets higher light. Are you using fertilizer and have you done a very recent very thorough bug check since you noted the yellowing? How long have you had your dozen catts?
