: I just brought my first orchid home from a show. It's a Phaleanopsis (big surprise...). Anyway, 5 of the six blossoms started to wilt the first day it was home. The last blossom, which is the farthest out on the spike, is fine. As is the rest of the plant. It's been a week now. What I want to know is do I remove the wilt flowers or do I wait for them to drop off? How do I remove them?

: I do have three more buds developing, so I'm not left with one lone flower.

Just cut off the wilted flowers at their base where it attaches to the stem. I love phals! Tom
