Help my orchid!!

Hi! I was given this orchid as a gift and had to transport it. While in transit it toppled over and lost some of it's soil! Since then the flowers have all wilted and many have fallen off! I don't know what to do about it. Also, I have noticed that the medium it is in doesn't remain damp for very long after I have watered it.
