: While doing "Spring clean-up" in February, my gardener cut back my 5 hydrangea bushes to about 18". They did not bloom (nor did 4 of them last year). Can I spray them with Bloom Booster or something to produce blooms?
Afraid you'll need to educate your gardener. Some hydrangeas shouldn't be pruned. Nothing you spray on them will bring back the buds, as they begin to set on the previous year's stems, and now they've been cut off. Take a look at this site for some guidance.
Better luck next year,
